AirProjects serves as the lead concession planner working with Airport management and their design team to plan the new terminal for Salt Lake City International Airport. AirProjects planned the concession mix for the new 125,000 square foot program, as well as developed a comprehensive concession plan and leasing strategy for the future terminal facilities. AirProjects is working with Airport management and their design team to plan and lease the new terminal building, including analyzing passenger flows and projections, projecting future supportable space and revenue, and developing a comprehensive concession plan and strategy for the future terminal facilities. AirProjects provided assistance drafting the retail and food service RFPs, leases, and preproposal conference materials for the new terminal and assisted during the evaluation process. AirProjects’ previous work at the Airport won awards, including recognition in ACI-NA’s 2013 Concession Contest for the first-of-its-kind “Specialty Directory Program.” This program easily identifies for travelers with food sensitivities or those with special diets the food service concessions at the Airport that offer gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and organic meal options. The directory is incorporated into the digital wayfinding throughout the Airport, the advertising program, and the airport website.
