AirProjects led the retail and food service planning effort for JetBlue’s new Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, including approximately 60,000 square feet of retail, food service, and consumer services.  AirProjects worked with the Gensler design team to ensure that the retail, food service, and terminal designs were complementary, leading-edge, and supportive of the JetBlue corporate image.
AirProjects analyzed the concessions in JetBlue’s previous terminal, developed revenue and feasibility projections, conducted extensive market research on the local, national, and industry level, developed a concession master plan and a detailed leasing plan for all retail and food service to be located in the terminal, worked with the design team to incorporate the concessions into the terminal design, and reviewed and commented on tenant design guidelines.  AirProjects also assisted JetBlue with implementation, solicitation, and leasing efforts, drafting leases and RFPs and assisting with key lease negotiations. AirProjects also assisted JetBlue with the overall management of the concession program.
