AirProjects prepared the commercial facilities plan for the new Tier 2 midfield terminal at Dulles, including all retail, food service, and consumer services.  AirProjects was part of the Kohn Pedersen Fox design team, with the responsibility for all retail, food service, and advertising planning.  Responsibilities included the evaluation of the existing program, market research and demand analysis, supportable space requirements, identifying prospective concepts and tenants, and developing layouts for all of the commercial spaces.  AirProjects worked with the design team through the entire design effort to ensure that the retail and food service units were properly located, designed, and signed for maximum impact and customer service.

Additionally, AirProjects managed a team of consultants to assist the Airport with the development of a leasing and management strategy for the food service program at Dulles.  The work included the analysis of various management alternatives and their implications.  Previously, Ms. Ferraguto was the project manager for the retail and food service planning effort on the HOK team that planned and designed Concourse B.
